About Connolly Brothers

Connolly Brothers is a third-generation family owned business. Founded in 1923, the business has evolved from a County General Hardware Store on Main Street, Cavan with a warehouse on Abbey Street, Cavan. It originally sold household hardware, paints, wallpapers, furniture, bedding, carpets, linoleum, bicycles, china, glass, and earthenware.

We have overcome many challenges through the decades, changing and evolving, remaining true to our passion to give all our customers a genuine honest customer service.

We currently stock general and occasional giftware, homeware, souvenirs, religious goods, toys and have a picture framing service. We are committed to bringing you an excellent choice of quality gifts along with endeavouring to find an exciting and unusual item for our customers’ requests. Our aim is to build positive lasting relationships with our customers by providing them with the right product for that special occasion or customer request.
